HowTo Make Linux Picasa look better

Close any running instances of Picasa, then….

1. edit ~/.google/picasa/3.0/user.reg“

2. On around the 4th line down in that file you should see a line starting with ”[Control Panel\\Colors]“, copy and paste the following beneath that line and save and exit the text editor.

3. Go to “Applications”→“Graphics”→“Picasa”→“Picasa Font Settings”, and launch the application.

4. Select the “Menu Font” tab. Set the Menu Font to “Bitstream Vera Sans” and the Menu Font Size to “12”. Click “Ok”.

Now when you run Picasa you should see a nicely integrated menu bar.
